Ladies, it’s that time of year again; the Ladies’ Winchester Fives Championships. This year it is being held in the glorious surroundings of Malvern College on Sunday 22nd May 2022. This event is great fun and is suitable for all levels. Novices are very welcome as long as they have some knowledge of the scoring and a fair level of stamina and enthusiasm – but plenty of help will be available on the day if you are worried.
Winchester Fives is a beautiful game suitable for players of all codes. The rules and scoring are virtually the same as Rugby Fives, while Eton Fives Players will welcome the addition of a buttress on the left-hand wall that gives the game a unique appeal. Whatever type of fives you play you will be most welcome to join in. There will be singles and doubles competitions.

Entries are now open online or if you prefer, I will also be accepting email entries. It costs a mere £10 for the competition, so come on ladies, please get entering one of the most enjoyable competitions in the fives calendar.
