Volunteers

The heart and soul of the RFA

There are wonderful people off-court who support ongoing activities from opening the courts up at a venue through to developing local and national strategies for the sport.  These champions exist at school/college, university, club, regional and national levels.  Areas of expertise needed on these committees include finances, governance, web development, marketing, media, coaching and much more. If you think you might be interested then you can talk to your club secretary or the RFA General Secretary via the Contact Us page.

Young people under the age of 25 will ensure the future success of Fives and are a really important audience we need to support, engage and inspire.

By getting involved and donating their time to Fives, young leaders aged 12-25 can help shape the future.

The RFA couldn’t deliver events without the support of volunteers. Roles can include running an Open event, taking photos and videos, officiating over youth games, social media, bbq expert and resident DJ.  We welcome anyone who is keen to help.  If you’d like to be added to our volunteer database please email us and let us know what you’d be interested in helping with. We can then message you when there’s an upcoming event that you might be interested in.

There are many volunteers who have particular skillsets which may be useful on a one-off or regular basis. Perhaps you are an architect and can help with court design, or a lawyer who wants to review our policies. You might want to help us make a promotional video or design t-shirts. If you think you’ve a special skill and can add something that we’re missing, we’d absolutely love to hear from you
