Challenger Tournament
Oundle School; Sunday, 4th December
Entries are now open for this year’s Challenger Tournament — the fifth time we have run the event, with Anthony Goodwin (pictured above, right) taking the title last year. This tournament is different to other RFA ranking events, in that it is not open to those who qualified for the National Singles (top 16 players), whilst still providing the incentive of ranking points up for grabs.
The Tournament will take place on Sunday, 4th December at Oundle School. This is the same day as the Final of the National Singles, so will also be an opportunity to watch the top two players in the country battle it out for the title.
Start time will be 10.00am, and we will aim to finish by mid-afternoon. Entry will be £10, but half price for students and those who entered the National Singles but didn’t manage to qualify for the last 16.
