STOP PRESS  In the concluding regional open championships of the season, Ed Kay wins his first Cuthbertson Quaich, beating Ben Beltrami 11-1, 11-1 in the final. Ben Jourdan won the Plate, beating Scottish Women’s Champion, Louise Mathias, in the final. Colm Grace won the Bowl. The Doubles, no longer organised as a President’s Cup-style event, was won for the first time by Ollie Arnold & Ben Beltrami, who beat Dan Grant & Terry McElvaney, who had deposed defending champions Penn Chai & Lewis Keates in the semi-final. Caley Club’s Enrique Castillo Carbonell & Simon Fraser won a round robin Plate.
