This year’s National Singles Championship, organised by Charlie Brooks, will have a new format. Play will be conducted over the weekend of November 29-30 on the courts at the Cambridge University Sports Centre, with no preliminary qualifying rounds. In a draw conducted online on Saturday 22nd November, the 24 players have been split into 8 groups as follows:
Group A: Ed Kay, Marcus Cloke Browne, Ollie Arnold
Group B: Dan Tristao, James Tilston, Anthony Goodwin
Group C: Ben Beltrami, Charlie Lacewing, Archie McCreath
Group D: Julian Aquilina, Charlie Brooks, Emrys Thursfield
Group E: Lewis Keates, Terry McElvaney, Sam Russell
Group F: Freddie Hammond Giles, Theo Parker, Theo Vernacchio
Group G: Dan Grant, Cameron Low, Ander Iraizoz
Group H: Penn Chai, Gwydion Wiseman, James Milburn
Top two from each group go through to the round of 16. Bottom names go into the Bowl, losers then into the Plate.

2024 Lewis wins the Plate for second time in a row
