THIS EVENT HAS BEEN POSTPONED – WE’LL HAVE DETAILS OF THE NEW DATE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
Created by Bob Dolby, the tournament is moving to a new home in Scotland from this season, and under new management. Full details are still to be confirmed, but the ethos is ‘Sociable Fives with an element of competition thrown in!’ and this is the current thinking/plan:
Saturday 5th October:
Start at c.13.00 so people travelling can make it to Edinburgh on the day + after Saturday morning school for Edinburgh players.
Finish at c.18.00 followed by a group dinner for anyone who is keen.
The organiser is also very happy to have some Sunday morning Fives if people have travelled far and are due to stay the night.
Format:
Doubles – one player must be a current school girl or an inexperienced female adult (e.g. Parent or new player) – second player can be anyone!
