Ed has been playing Fives since 2002. A right-hander but totally ambidextrous, he started at St Paul’s School, went on to play at, and captain, Cambridge University, and has slowly but surely become one of the best players in the country, ranked consistently in the top 3 in Singles and Doubles, winning a large number of titles in both, with only the National Singles title eluding him so far. Ed is known for his incredible athleticism, amazing retrieval and nimble left hand down the line. Not surprisingly his favourite courts are the glass-backed ones at the Cambridge University Sports Centre. [November 2023]
