Gwydion Wiseman

Gwydion started playing Rugby Fives at the age of 9 at Alleyn’s when his father, Howard Wiseman, took over the coaching there. Coming from such a Fives-orientated family, Gwydion came to love not just Rugby Fives but also Eton Fives, where he developed the skill to volley fluently, a big part of Gwydion’s Rugby Fives game. This helped him throughout his schoolboy career, where he won multiple Singles championships, including two National Schools U18 and two West of England Schools Open titles, as well as a clutch of Doubles titles. After a year out as Fives Professional at Mill Hill School and now at Oxford Brookes University, Gwydion is looking forward very much to throwing himself into the senior world of matches and tournaments, having already won the President’s Cup with Helena Tunks in 2022.
