Katie Sumner

Katie started playing Fives at Bedford Modern School, regularly on court with brother Joe and usually partnering Maddie Kent. In 2019 Katie won the National Schoolgirls Open Singles and, with Maddie, the Doubles. The following year Katie teamed up with Martha Nugent to win Silver in the Ladies National Doubles at Manchester Y Club. Katie has been able to play less than she would have liked while at university. We look forward to seeing her back in action in due course. [November 2023]
