Lewis is a stalwart of the Derby Moor Fives Club, where he started playing aged 12. A regular at regional tournaments over the past few years he has graduated from contesting Plate finals to making the final of the South East Open in 2019, partnered by Morgan Spillane. Lewis aids Stuart Kirby in coaching the young players at Derby Moor at weekends as well as playing twice a week on club evenings. His favourite courts are the glass-backed ones at Cambridge, his greatest rival Mike Suddaby, and his favourite partner Rob Whitehorn. His best memories are competing in the National Singles for the first time and finally beating life-long coach and fellow club member Stuart Kirby at singles!
