Lewis Keates

Lewis is a stalwart of the Derby Moor Fives Club, where he started playing aged 12. A regular at regional tournaments over the past few years he has graduated from contesting Plate finals to reaching five open finals, starting with the South East Open in 2019, then again in 2023, and the Yorkshire, West of England and Scottish Open Doubles respectively. His favourite courts are his home courts in Derby; his regular rivals are Cameron Low, Joe Sumner and Oscar McIntyre. Lewis’s best memories are winning the National U25 Singles and the Doubles with his favourite partner Bally Singh in January 2023. [November 2023]
