Shinan Zhang

Shinan began playing fives at Malvern College and won the Girls’ National Championships in Singles and Doubles in her final year at school. A huge sports enthusiast, she squeezed in every sport she could during her schoolgirl days, then continued to play Fives throughout university, joining the Wessex Fives Club who play on the courts at Winchester College. Shinan relishes competing and socialising, particularly enjoying the annual Jesters Tour to Edinburgh. She has had considerable success in Doubles in particular, winning the Ladies’ U23 title and the Ladies’ National Rugby Fives title with Louise Mathias and the Ladies’ National Winchester Fives title with Helena Tunks.  Shinan now plays in London, at St Paul’s School, with the Executioners and would be delighted to hear via the RFA website (www.therfa.uk) from any ladies who wish to play Fives.
