STOP PRESS On Sunday morning Charlie Brooks & Will Ellison claimed their fifth Cyriax Cup together, beating defending champions Ed Kay & Dan Tristao in a three-game final which lasted for two and a half hours. For Will it was his sixth title, having previously won the event once with Dan.
The previous day Cameron Low and Archie McCreath had played out the Plate competition, winning the much coveted trophy against James Toop & Gwydion Wiseman in an increasingly tough final, while James Smith & Raheem Yusuf won the 5-pair round robin for the B Plate.
