Giles Munn reports: In this year’s Colquhoun Trophy tournament, despite some last minute drop-outs due to illness and injury, we had a total of 23 players from Marlborough College, Marlborough Town, Sherborne and Winchester. All four finalists may well have been from Winchester College, but there was strong competition, in particular from Marlborough’s top U16 H Fletcher and U18 M Di Gleria, who both lost out in hard fought 3-set semi-finals. In the U18 final T Munaretto-Day played against fellow Wykehamist P Mannion-Miles in a repeat of last year’s U16 final. However, this time Munaretto-Day came out victorious. In the U16 final F Coleman beat a tired but determined M Zhang. The U18 Plate was an all-Sherborne affair, and the two U16 Plates went to players from Winchester.
