Ladies’ National Championships
Y Club, Manchester, January 25/26th 2020
After major change for the Ladies Championships in 2019 – new date, new venue and new management – the competition is sticking with the successful new formula, and entries are now being accepted for the event.
The organiser is Louise Mathias (who is also defending champion in the singles and doubles) and the event will be held in Manchester over the final weekend of January.
Both singles and doubles tournaments will be played, with the singles taking place on the Saturday and the singles final and doubles tournament on the Sunday. On top of the main competitions, there will be Plate tournaments, with the Wiseman ball being used throughout.
A commemorative T-shirt will also be available to players at the event, but they must confirm their size on the entry form by January 3rd to guarantee getting a shirt in their size.
However, rather than asking players to fill in and send in an entry form, the organisers have set up a website for the event. Here, players can fill in an entry form and look up further information about travel to and accommodation in Manchester.
