Ladies National Championships
Y Club, Manchester, Saturday/Sunday January 22/23 2022
Entry is now open for the Ladies National Rugby Fives Championships. These will be held at the Y Club in Manchester over the weekend of Saturday and Sunday January 22nd/23rd 2022.
This means the event is sticking with the successful new formula introduced in 2019 – new date, new venue and new management – and the organiser is Louise Mathias (pictured above, second from right), who is also defending champion in the singles and (with Shinan Zhang) doubles.
Both singles and doubles tournaments will be played, and there will be Plate tournaments, with the format decided on the day, as well as a social dinner on the Saturday evening. However, rather than players having to fill in and send in an entry form, the organiser is accepting entries and payment (£10 for singles, £10 for doubles, and free for Under 18s) online.
