STOP PRESS Understandablythere is never a large field for these two events, traditionally played side by side, but the entry is always distinguished, and never more so than this year, with multiple champion Wayne Enstone and former RFA President Dick Warner joining some familiar and welcome faces. At the end of the day Stuart Kirby & Brian Kirk from the Derby Moor Club retained their Masters (Over 65) Doubles title against their opponents from the Wessex Club, while Wayne joined previous champion John East in winning their first Grand Masters Doubles for the Over 75s, reliving their immensely successful partnership of the late 1970s.
