Rugby Fives Mixed Doubles tournament

Alleyn’s School, Dulwich, Sunday April 14th

For the first time, there’s going to be a Mixed Doubles Rugby Fives tournament – and entries are now being accepted.

It’s organised by Ladies National Champion Louise Mathias (pictured above, when winning the Winchester Fives Mixed Doubles title last year) and will take place at Alleyn’s School in South London on the same day as the final of the National Doubles Championship – Sunday 14th April.

That means that not only will competitors enjoy their own tournament, they’ll get to see – and hopefully be inspired by – the very best players in the country in action on the next-door courts.

To ensure close matches for everyone in the mixed doubles, pairings will be selected on a handicap basis – sort of like the President’s Cup – so anyone who wants to play should enter on their own, rather than as a pair.
