Basque Rugby Fives Singles Championship 2023

Egoitz Campo reports: This tournament was held as usual on squash courts. There were 8 participants, all but one of whom were from the Basque region. The tournament was won (as last year) by Egoitz Campo, who has the advantage of having been a player of Basque Pelota as a child. A Doubles championship is planned for August. Unusually, the games were all played to 12 minutes, the player with the highest number of points at the end of the period being the winner. This explains the variable winning scores from the matches which are as follows:
