Roberts Ride 18000 — 10th August 2019

Rob has now completed 17,500 of the 18,000 miles required for cycling round the world, raising money for his 2 charities.

He is now in Toronto, Canada, at the end of the American leg of his journey having cycled Route 66 from Los Angeles to Chicago and then on to Toronto.

He has covered 5 continents, 28 countries and 17,500 miles so far.

He is flying to Japan in a few days’ time to finish the adventure there.

Whilst in Springfield, Illinois Rob was delighted to discover that Abraham Lincoln was a keen Fives player (see photograph below).

Together with the many amazing sights he is seeing and fascinating people he is meeting there are the many thunderstorms to cope with and a broken bike frame.

Rob will officially be returning to Nottingham on Saturday 19th October at 10.00am at Bramcote Park.
