A small tournament but notable in being the only regional competition on the RFA Fixtures calendar for schoolgirls, set up in 2017. This year it was run on the courts of Christ’s Hospital, with players from Alleyn’s School , Christ’s Hospital and Eastbourne College. Alleyn’s provided a substantial squad of girls ahead of the National Schoolgirls Championships, to be held at Marlborough College on April 23rd, and enjoyed success in the U16 and U14 categories, while players from Eastbourne College dominated the senior competition.
