The RFA is delighted to announce the publication of new Women’s Rankings, updated since the Women’s Scottish Open Championships held recently in Edinburgh.
83 players are ranked in Singles and 76 in Doubles.
There is just the one new name in the top 50 in Singles: Martha Nugent, back from studies abroad, who enters at #6. The top 5 remain the same, with three-time National Champion Camille Beattie clearly established at #1 after her victory in the Women’s Scottish Open.
In Doubles we see two new names in the Top 10 after the Scottish Open: Savanna Leboff and Maddy Raynor; Martha Nugent and Emily Palmer enter the Top 20. Helena Tunks, who has had an outstanding year in Women’s Doubles and Mixed Doubles events, deservedly takes the Number 1 spot in Women’s Doubles.
