At this year’s Varsity Match, postponed from February due to the coronavirus pandemic, Oxford Men won their fourth consecutive victory, while Cambridge Ladies made it six in a row. There was no Sparrows versus Beavers match. Oxford Men built on a small lead from the Singles, winning the first round of Doubles heavily, while the Light Blue Ladies had too much skill in both Singles and Doubles for their inexperienced Dark Blue opponents.
Cambridge now counts 57 wins since 1925 against 34 by Oxford. In the Ladies Match Cambridge lead by 6-1.
