15th January 2023

The RFA is delighted to publish the latest Women’s Rankings by courtesy of Chris Burrows. They have been updated with results from the Durham Ladies Championships in October and the National Ladies U23 Championships in December. 59 players are ranked in Singles and 63 in Doubles.

There has been considerable movement in the top 20 of each category (see below) as a number of players from the universities and U18 players from the City of Durham Club and the Edinburgh Academy in particular have enjoyed success in one or both of the relevant ranking events. Young players from across the country have made significant advances below the top 20 also.

The full rankings can be seen at https://therfa.uk/rankings/

The next ranking event takes place this coming weekend on the courts of the Manchester Y Club: the Ladies’ National Championships. We look forward to seeing a mix of young challengers and experienced adults taking part in this event.
