STOP PRESS With just 5 competitors for the Singles a round robin was held, from which Zara Elliot, who now plays her Fives with the Executioners, emerged the clear winner. The organiser and Captain of the Oxford University Women’s team, Lena Barton, took the silver and Phoenix Fleming from Marlborough College the Plate. With the same number for the Doubles the General Secretary concocted a round robin in which the players paired up in every conceivable combination to play 16-rally matches with American scoring. In this enjoyable, quickfire contest Zara and Lena proved to be the most consistently successful pairing, with Abbie Evans and Phoenix Fleming the runners-up. Oxford’s Sarah Skinner took the Plate.
