RFA Challenger Tournament

Cambridge University Sports Centre, Sunday December 5th

Entries are now open for this year’s Challenger Tournament – the second time the RFA has run the event after a successful 2019 debut, when the competition was won by Christian Blackaby (above). This tournament is different from other RFA ranking events, in that it is not open to those who qualified for the National Singles (top 16 players), while still providing the incentive of ranking points up for grabs!

The Tournament will take place on Sunday, December 5th, in Cambridge. This is the same day as the Final of the National Singles, so will also be an opportunity to watch the top two players in the country battle it out for the title.

Start time will be 10.30am, and we will aim to finish by mid-afternoon. Entry will be £10, but half price for those who entered the National Singles but didn’t manage to qualify for the last 16.

If you would like to play, please get in contact with Charlie Brooks before Wednesday, Dec 1st – either by sending him an email or calling him on 07967 552652. Entry fees will be collected on the day of the tournament.
